With all the news about how bad the economy is, everyone is afraid to purchase a new home. My take on the currennt situation is.

This is probably the best time to buy in the last 20 years. Prices are depressed and rates are at all time lows. You can afford more home because the mortgage rates are lower.

We have all heard that prices have been declining. Well that $200,000 home in 2005 is now $175,000.

My take is if you are in a position to buy, now is the time.
